HOLLYWOOD got it's name from these plants.
unfortunately the hollywood hills no longer are covered with toyon. the plant was removed in favor of houses. today it is very hard to find any of it's name sake inside the hollywood city limits.
you can get toyon at most good plant houses. great large shrub or trimmed into a small,
mult-trunk tree. DONT OVER WATER.

The omly one I can think of that you might mean isn't a holly. The only plant I know of associated with Hollywood is the Hollywood Juniper. It can be purchase at any California nursery and should be able to be ordered as a special order if necessary.
