Why are my plants dying?
Answers:
~~ if the leaves are turning yellow you are watering them too much, if you are in a humid climate you may be giving them too much water. or, you could be not watering them enough. if you are in a hot dry climate every other day may not be enough, have you used any fertilizer on them? 1 teaspoon of epsom salt in 1 gallon of water makes a good fertilizer, or miracle grow. also it's possible that they need a little more natural light than they are getting. ~~

I DONT know WHY DID YOU ASK?
You are watering them too often. Wait until the soil is dry to the touch before you water them. Once every 5 days may be often enough. Do the pots have drainage holes in the bottom? That's important. When you water them, stop when the water starts to come out of the drainage hole. You are drowning your plants.
too much watering
several possibilities. are they in clay pots or plastic? if they are in clay- bad idea. clay robs water and your plants may be drying out. if in plastic- the opposite. plants do not like having "wet feet". make sure the dirt is dry 1-2 inches down before you water. were the pots clean? is the container you water from soap free? are they outside? if so, and they are large pots- maybe some naughty kitty is using them for a litter box. good luck!!!
did you open up the root system when you planted?? you need to take off any containers and spread the roots so they can get more nutrients,, they will wilt for a few days trying to re-establish a root systemm
did you water it and put it near light from the sun? Or maybe you watered it too much, or not enough.
It kind of depends on the type of plant. I think you may be over watering them. You should only water MOST plants when you stick your finger in the dirt and the top 1/2 inch or so is dry. Do not let them dry out all the way.. And they do need some light. You may need to give them more light. Good Luck and God Bless.. {;-)

What kind of plants are they?
Don't water them that much try once a week and check soil if it is still wet hold on watering them for a couple of days. Pick a day of the week and water them alittle
it's says keep out of direct sunlight but they still need a lot of light ,the water that you give them is warm always
There is no way to tell you why your plants are dying if one doesn't know what kind of plants they are.... there can be a thousand reasons just like humans... give more details about your observations on the plants deaths and you will get more exact answers...
