What insect is this please?

I have merely seen what looks approaching a small bee (roundish body, jerky flight, similar nouns to a bee) but it has black and white stripes. It be buzzing around a Lantana plant.
I live in Valencia, Spain, if that is to say relevant.

Some wasps have black and white stripes, although short the roundish body.
It is probably some sort of bee. Where you live is definitely relevant.
