How do you permentantly move bull nettles?

I have these irritating stinging weed all over my patio and pasture. My boys have both be drawn in my their "pretty" white flowers and both get stung. Any suggestions on removal?


Answers:    I was ALWAYS a nettle casualty!! Just couldn't resist the flowers!!

You need a three point plan: #1 Spray next to Round-Up. Out in the pasture you can simply SPRAY!! In your yard, use a piece of cardboard to protect the "good" plants that are subsequent to the nettles!! #2 REMOVE (it takes in the region of a week to ten days for the plants to die) any of the dead plants that enjoy flowers/seeds on them (so they can't come back subsequent year!!!!). DO NOT put these in your compost. #3 Next spring,spray EARLY!! If you spray BEFORE the plants set core, you will cut the cycle!!

I use Round-Up to get rid of nettles,poison ivy & oak etc. If you really want to be sure their gone use the brush slayer version. Be aware Round-Up kill anything green it lands on, hopefully you don't have to pick around other plants ! It will do the post though ! Good Luck....
