My tomato plants look great, but do not produce very many fruits.?
Answers:
It sounds like maybe your soil is too rich or over fertilized. Soil too high in nitrogen will make the leaves and foliage look fantastic but not allow for friuts or flower production. Buy a $5 soil test kit and see what your levels are.

Are they planted close together? Try spreading them out and adding fertilizer specially made for food-bearing plants.
Plus, it is early in the season, just give them some time to fully mature.

This could be because your plants need nutrients to produce the fruits. You can buy nutrients at Home Depot in the section garden. Also bring water all the days to your plant, so that will help your plants grow and live more. Also a little be of sunshine will help your plants to grow with help.
Cut off what they call "Sucker Branches",your plant will be back to producing in no time.
try changing the soil surrounding it, or shuffle the same soil at right intervals that is every month or at your convenience. and if possible plant them at distance from each other so they can gain the needed nutrition from soil and sun light
You are over watering.
Heat can affect "fruit set" on tomato plants. If overnight temperatures remain too warm, the flowers will die without developing a tomato.
I use Miracle Gro tomato food once a week. also pinch off lower leaves to let all the energy go to the fruit.
Have you trimmed the extra branches. My Dad showed me this trick...where the plant branches split and begin to Y trim the little branches that sprout in the middle of the Y. This will tell the plants to concentrate on the bigger, hardier branches within the plant and help to produce more fruit.
