Can I store tulip bulbs to plant subsequent season?

I had a box of tulip bulbs deliver from Holland. I live at a very dignified altitude and am #1 worried that the ground is already too hard for digging and #2 my natural life situation is a bit smeary and I worried that a move is in the adjectives and that I would end up going away my bulbs behind. Not OK! They be a gift from my Aunt. Can I maintain them in their roll and plant them at a later time, or do I hold to get them within the ground ASAP?

Thanks! Aljan

Answers:    They will be fine as long as you keep them dry and surrounded by the dark.
I put aside my annual bulbs in the garage, they capture cold and "sleep" in the winter. Tulips mortal "perrinnials" usually go contained by the ground and stay there. If you own an annual and want it to sleep until your sure of what to do, put it in the fridgerator contained by a bag that have holes in it. (without holes you obtain moisture which equals mold and loss of plant.
Cheers!
