What do I do with my petunias?

They are beautiful and prolific with flowers, but the stems are getting long and rangy, and not looking as nice..what do I do with them? I've been picking off the dead flowers with regularity, but should I be snipping the stalks to promote more flowers? I'm not sure what to do and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answers:
yes...you should be pinching your petunias back...it helps keep them from getting leggy...and helps make them bushier!

Other answers:
Sure, you can just nip the stems back when they get raggy looking. They'll start growing out fresher looking. They'll produce more flowers that way, too.

WATER THEM
clip off the raggy parts and just keep picking off the dead flowers.
If you pinch them back they will not trail and go to all stems and will become bushy.
