This is a questions on how to get rid of MOLES, that dig up your yard. How to get rid of them?
Answers:
I have heard it all. Egg shells, chewing gum, banana peelings, flooding, peppers, human hair, Soap and bacon grease, humane urine, chemical pellets and even smoke. Sorry, but it’s all worthless. You’re going to have to get rid of them and do so aggressively. For best and quickest results, use the spring traps (I saw some at Wall-Mart last week). Place them over the "runs" that you see thought your yard. Then the moles go through, it triggers the trap and you'll have one. Be sure to re-set the trap for another.
Poison peanuts/wheat also work, but results are slower. These are made by the W. R. Sweeney Company. I have also, if you have the time, walk on the mound that is left when they dig & just wait. Soon, you will see them going through the tunnel by raising the dirt again. Quickly dig them up w/a shovel. You have to move fast to get them this way. Odds are good; you won't be able to kill them fast enough.
Until you solve the real problem, you will continue to have moles. They are in you yard because there is an abundance of Grubs there. Just like another animal, they have selected your yard for the abundance of food there. You can treat your yard with a Bayer product, Merit or a Scotts product , Grub EX. It is a granular product that spreads on the lawn much like you would spread fertilizer. A product that has Bifenthrin, sometimes called Talstar as an active ingredient in it will also work well. Another possibility is to add nematodes to your yard. The nematodes can be found at most of your Mom and Pop garden centers, and feed on Grubs. Another product many people have had success with (myself included) is Milky Spore. To treat the lawn, just put a spoon full at 3 foot by 3 foot. Milky Spore lasts for many years. Understand, it will only kill the grub in its larva stage and will not harm the existing grubs. These are much more organic approaches, but as is normally the case with organic solutions, results will be slower. Rid your yard of the Grubs and your mole problem will not be resurfacing.

Drop doggie doo down the holes, bury around the perimeter of your yard--they hate it
my grandmother used juicy fruit gum in their holes. aparently it kills them or something. they have those ultra sonic things that you stick in your yard to scare them off. But i dont know how well they work.
Use juicy fruit gum. Stick the sticks of gum in the ground about every 12 inches for as long as you can see the mole "line".
Ex-lax laxative. This no Joke. Place it where you know they tunnel.
Those are a pain...i think the best way is to buy poison at home depot or something...i bought this stuff and made peanut butter balls and rolled it around the poison and it seemed to have helped a little...the traps themselves i didn't find very useful...i never had a mole problem when all my cats were young and outdoor cats...other solution is cats lol
smoke/gas bombs from Lowes will work. Sometimes mothballs work.
moth balls..or......I used to have this problem for years and I finally saw the little bugger last year tunneling around my front yard and took a shovel and killed the pesky critter. I haven't seen any at all this year.
Moles taste yucky to cats!
Try "mole patrol" drop the pellets into every hole you can find. worked great for me, be sure that if you have animals they cant get at it. good luck
The answer about ultra sonic adds credence to my suggestion which I have seen used on the golf course: Get bottles, plastic or glass and bury them half way down in the mole hills with the necks upwards. The wind passing across the open necks makes a weird sound which frightens the moles away into your neighbours property....................
I have a solar mole repellent----just sticks in the ground.....puts a sound out only they can hear. Works
Criderrider works very well. It is a mixture of spices that will drive them nuts. burns the nose. Home Depot sells it for abou $10 in the season department
Watch for movement then put a straight edge behind the movement then watch for movement again and drive a pitchfork where the movement is and kill it. Someone once told me that you could sell their skins for expensive powder puffs and get lots of money for them and I actually believed them! Also, diazanon pellets will get rid of the grubs they are eating.
a mole makes paths in the yard, find the path mash is down, find the entrance its not hard to find, take Juicy Fruit chewing gum and put is in the hole, then drop 1 moth ball in it.....when i moved into my house moles owned my yard, until I did the chewing gum and moth balls, my daddy told me this and I laugh at him, jeez he is always right.....you wont see another one
