What benevolent of insect do you give attention to this is (poss. weevil?)?

I had notice for some time these little white cocoon shaped things in the corner of my walls. I even have one dangling off my wall. I couldn't take them off well its like they are stuck to the ceiling. One hours of darkness I came into my room and turned the hurricane lantern on to see this long thing coming outside of the cocoon moving it along. They are roughly speaking 1/2" long and like I said they are within this offwhite cocoon shaped thing. If it is a weevil how long do they live surrounded by their cocoons and what do they eat? Im newly finding it odd they are a moment ago hanging out contained by corners of my room. Thanks for any help.

weevils don't form cocoons.

What you describe sound close to a very small moth...of the "clothing moth" group. They sort very small white silk cocoons.
Regardless of what they are, the first lay down of things is that you buy a good competence insecticide and spray your room thoroughly

Next use a vacuum and try to remove the cocoons. Be certain to changeover the bag when you finish and put it outside on the trash.

If the vacuum doesn't work you may hold to hand verbs them down, but I would defiantly catch them down and out of my bedroom.

Hope this helps.
