Best 4wd tractor for the money.?

Looking to buy small tractor to clear wooded land. Need to bush hog and afterwards pull cut timber. After will use for grade finished road. What would be a good choice for precipitous slopes and looking at $10,000 investement.


Answers:    $10,000 doesn't buy much tractor these days. I reason the best new tractor for the money is Kioti. I bought one ultimate year after looking at many brands. If you are planning to buy a used tractor any of the resourcefully known brands are apt. Most are made in Japan. I would not buy any tractor made surrounded by China or India. Some of the brands to consider are Kubota, John Deere, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Case. Don't buy a "gray market" tractor. These are tractors that were not made to be sold surrounded by this country. Even though they are the same brands, U.S. dealer will not service them.
I would spend a little extra and buy the best a John Deere. Best equipment money can buy and it will later forever. Go around and check out local dealers.
