What plant "zone" is the Philippines within?

Why is it so important to know which zone it's within?

Help is greatly appreciated.

Answers:    Zones refer to the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) cold hardiness zone. The zones demarcate geographical zones surrounded by North America by their range of average annual minimum temperature. Zones are important because plants enjoy a minimum temperature that beyond they can not survive. The zone allow you to determine if a plant can survive a winter in your geographical nouns.

The Philippines average annual minimum temperature (25.5 C) is resourcefully above -1.1 to 4.4 C, the average annual minimum temperature scope for zone 10 (& the warmest zone defined by the USDA). Each zone increases the average annual minimum temperature by 5.5 C (10 F), so the Philippines would be zone14 or 15 if the USDA defined that tons zones.
