If I pour bleach over my grass how long will the grass be comatose for?

Will it spread? I wants to execute my lawn and use a different type of grass but the grass I want to plant is greener so I'm going to get hold of rid of my current lawn.

Does bleach find rid of grass and doesn't let anything grow nearby for years or does it just snuff out anything that was freshly there?
Does it spread or does it in recent times kill whatevere I pour it on?

I live within Canada and we have 4 season if that matters.

Bleach may not kill your meadow, some lawns it will help nurture it especially the weeds. Use a weed and grass assassin or rent a sod cutter for and hour or so. Cut the sod the same mode you would use the lawn mower and return it. Compost the older lawn and use a core fertilizer a few days before applying the nut. Till the soil and level it first next to a 6' rake from the rental store.
