Why are seeds germinated when they can be put into the pot?

I want to know is there an advantage!

Answers:
Higher rate of germination.

You can control the temperature, humidity, fungus, mold etc.

Maybe most importantly, space and convenience.

If you are germinating more than one seed, who wants all those pots that have to be individually cared for?

Other answers:
-It's easier to manage the seeds in a tray when they are small,
- they are planted in sterile peat (so no weeds) you can pot a plant in peat and soil has weed
_ the lid is closed and creates humidity and speeds growth
