while watering it, I have notice tons of ants running all over the picnic basket and the flowers. Is there anything I can do to capture rid of them? I would hate to throw the plant away, it is so pretty. Any counsel?
Answers:
Use a general purpose garden insecticide such as 'Sevin' (available as both a dust and liquid). Always follow the directions on the sticky label. I'd recommend the liquid. Mix it into a watering can (or old-fashioned milk carton) and water the plant beside it once per week for 2-3 weeks or until the infestation is destroyed.
