The tips of the leaves on my tropical plant are all brown. Any idea why this is and what to do about it.?

Answers:
I think you need to water more and mist when conditions are dry. It,s the plants nature to thrive on wet conditions. If you must us tap water let it sit for 24 hours in an open container.

It sounds as though you are using tap water. Tape water has alot of things in it that can cause this problem. Try using reverse osmosis water. You can get this at any grocery store. Also be very careful not to over fertilize.
