Succulents?
Answers:
Killing a succulent is like killing an air fern... you can't do it unless you try. okay, don't know what kind, so i'll assume... they got leggy on you. just cut off the top with about 2 inches of stem, toss away whats left including the roots in the ground.
if the are little guys, poke a hole in the ground, stick in the stem part you just cut off, cover and water well.
if they are of the larger type, after cutting the stem, put the in the shade for a few days so the cut has time to scab over a bit. then repeat the above.
succulents are like the hair on your head in reverse. when you get a hair cut you get rid of the top growth. with a succulent, you save the top and toss out the bottom. just replant the part you trimmed off and your done.
they are not cactus. yes they go along without any water for a long time. But they look much better with regular watering.
don't feed them. they will get what they need from the water and soil. give the extras away or make some new beds around your garden.
the fastest way to kill 'um is to fuss over them. whatever soil you have now, they'll love it. don't over water, but remember they are not catcus either.
