it's all in the song "Bahay Kubo". I don't know how to translate all the veggie names from tagalog to English though.. singkamas, talong (eggplant), sigarilyas, mani (peanut), sitaw, bataw, patani (long string beans), kundol, patola, upo, kalabasa (squash), rabanos (radish), mustasa (mustard)...... tomatoes... etc. some plants won't grow unless you're in the colder regions like Baguio but try the website below. Type in "philippines" in the search box and it will come up with both the Filipino and English names for the vegies :)

Same as anywhere else. Most plants grow best in hot weather and you'll have plenty of that.
It depends on where you are going to live.
In the low lands all kind of tropical fruit and vegetables.
In the mountains some temperate zone type fruit and veggies.
It will be best to ask the locals when you get there. They will probably be happy to share gardening tips with you. I had Philippine neighbors for a while in the US. They grew some amazingly long beans (yard-long beans i think they are called in the seed catalogs) which they had grown back in the Philippines. I don't recall what else.

The same garden plants you do now but adding such things as taro, Jicama, ginger, etc.
