We have a shoebox with lots of flower and veggie seeds. Some of the seeds (peppers, tomatoes, cabbage) are over 5 years. What will be the germination ratio of 5 year old pepper seeds?

Take ten of each seed, soak in water over night, then place in a moistened paper towel.
That way, you can see how viable they still are and will not have wasted too much resources. If you wish, multiply the number that germinate by ten for the percent.
