How can I get fig wasps for my fig tree? It hasn't formed any fruit after 3 years.?

I bought a fig tree ( small plant ) from a nursery catalog a few years ago. It is fairly large now, but there has been no indication of fruit forming. I think fruit formation is supposed to precede leaf development each year. I think it is a Brown Turkey variety.

I have a brown turkey fig that has been in a pot for 2 years and it has figs on it and did last year. You do not need wasps or another variety. Fruit formation on mine follows leaves. I just planted mine in the ground this spring and it is doing better in its new sunny spot and has sent out more leaves and a few new fruit. My guess is that the soil does not have the right nutrients, or that it is not getting enough sun.

Is this fruit tree like a pear? Does there need to be a second one for pollination to occur? Not sure about the fig wasps.

I believe it takes 100 years before your tree will produce figs.
It is a self pollinator. Shouldn't need wasps.
