hhheeelllppp i've got un-identified bugs!!!?
i looked on severla sites to find info on how to prep the bales, and followed all of the steps, WHAT ARE THESE BUGS? they are, well i think they are (so small it is hard to tell) little brown six legged things, don't look like aphids, but i could be wrong...i know that there are garden guru's our there that can help me?!?!?! please, help me? this is the third year we have tried a garden for our little girl to tend and harvest, and all of the others have felt the triles of southern Carolina red clay soil...please help us see a harvest this year!

It could be some sort of weevil or aphid. You can search yahoo images under weevil or aphid and try to match them up. Also, find a local nursery or garden shop, if you can bring a sample bug in in a bottle or zip baggie they can most likely tell what you are dealing with, if and how to treat for this. As a beginning gardener you can always turn to a local shop for help, also they may be able to put you in touch with a master gardener in your area, they are usually very willing to help. Your area cooperative extension can be a great source for information and help. here is the main link but you should have an office for you county if you are in the US.
