How do i kill ants without using nasty pesticides?

Answers:
Go to the zoo and crawl over the fence and snatch yourself an anteater.

Make sure it's the anteaters' cage and not the lions' or tigers' or bears' ohhhhh myyyyy!!

Other answers:
smash them flat
smash them flat
burn them!
Pour boiling water on them.
Hairspray.
Step on them. Works for me. Also, if you find their mound or hole, pour a little (not so much to hurt your lawn) of gasoline on the opening. This might end up being worse than the pesticides, though. May God bless and keep you.
mix 1 part baking soda and 1 part icing sugar (small amount) and sprinkle it around the anthill and along the ant run. Repeat every day if it is washed away. The ants will be gone after a week or so.
ps Ants do come back, you may have to reapeat this if you see them again, however they are very easy to manage.
Show them a picture of azure on the can
Put vinegar in a squirt bottle and set it to narrow or stream.
Stomp on 'em.
Buy an aardvark.(anteater)
ants hate salt,it might not kill them but it does repel them
Sol-u-mel is a non-toxic spray that works to kill ants but also repel them if you spray in the area where they are coming from. The main ingredient is Melaleuca Oil. Let me know if you want some, I can get it for you.
MAGNIFYING GLASS!
you take hot sauce and plain saltine crackers mix together in a dry like form and sprinkle around the area so they have to cross it they will pack there bagss with in 2 days
Go Old Skool! Go out in a sunny day, find a ant(s) then with your handy magnifying glass, focus the light in the ant, and watch it burn!
well, you find out where their little "mounds" are on the ground, cautiously walk up to it... and jump! jump jump jump jump!! then walk away. you have a yard full of pissed ants and its excercise. plus they relocate (hopefully in your neighbors yard)
IDK but here is an article for you
Antifreeze is sweet and very toxic. I bet that would do the trick. Warning, if you have pets or other wildlife in the area, it might die too.
Borax
The kind you buy next to the Laundry soap. Mix it half & half with sugar & the ants will carry it back to the colony
Long term solution....
If it's a problem with ants in your yard try planting Peonies in your garden. the ants will eat your peonies & stay away from your house
On a very dry day put grits out near their mound... wait til you are sure they have carried bunches of it down to the queen and friends... then add water... gently of course... hee hee hee.
works every time.
My grandma says vinager works. but you can look at this website
