My zoysia/bluegrass mix has really thinned out almost resembling there's no grass there when it's dormant, does anyone else's do this and does it start thicken back up within spring? Also when does it go posterior to green and go "un-dormant", I live within st. louis if youre not familiar near their temperature within february now near are unusually warm 60 amount day spurts consequently it gets really cold, overall it's pretty mild end year it came put money on in march/april what can i expect this year gratefulness!

I am in VA and have zoysia in my ultimate yard. It thinned as it turned brown, but it be still a tough brown mat of solid grass. No dirt was visable though it. In certainty I had to ride my motorcycle over it to capture into the shed to park every day.
I am not that familar next to the zoysia and bluegrass blend however.
