Grass is growing in garden bed. How do I get rid of it?

Answers:
Do not use Roundup or other poisons! I overheard some professional gardeners talking, and they mentioned that one of their friends had to go to the hospital because he didn't wear gloves and handled Roundup for too long. Apparently, they thought, it was absorbed through his skin. If you are going to be eating vegetables out of your garden bed this season, I urge you not to use Roundup.

Instead, I would suggest pulling it out, as the others have. Or if this is not an option, you can cover the affected areas with a thick layer of mulch or a simple black-plastic bag covering to smother the grass and prevent any other unwanted guests from sprouting up.

You can dig it out, which can be hard depending on the variety, or kill it with something like Roundup. That's what I do; it works great.

You have to rip it out - roots and all. Be sure to get the roots
use sethoxydim. it's also calle Hi-Yield grass killer. available at hardware and farm supply stores.
i pull it out, and if it is really bad or I happen to not get all the roots I will spray the new growth with round-up (which kills all plants) or Ornemec (can be sprayed over most plants, however, not grass-like plants, ie. daylily's, iris')...I always pull as much as I can first...it uses less chemicals and the new growth on the plants is more vulnerable to the chemicals
