What do you do beside a tree after its be cut down?

We had a deceased tree in the posterior yard and instead of hiring a professional tree cutter, we cut it down ourselves and immediately we have tons of branches and logs. What do we do next to all those branches/logs. We don't want to save them or sell them as firewood.

Answers:    put a flyer up it the store for the logs, somebody will bound on the free wood for heating. They might even rob the larger branches. The branches will have to be taken to a recycle or yard debris facility. Where I live we would just burn the branches. Don't know just about your area.
Let the kids play on them.
Rent a chipper, although pricey it will take rid of the tree.
use as furniture and firewood for own
You can always set them out by the curb. If they don't disappear within a day, put up a sign on them that say free.

There's always freecycle and craigslist. MANY society would love to have free wood!

Turn them into mulch or burn them for grill.
