I got a garden full of brambles, how can I get rid of them all for good?
Answers:
Know anybody with a backhoe tractor? You need to dig out the root system to completely remove. Spraying round up on this year helps a bit but you'll be forever spraying.
Goats love to eat bramble bushes. If you have the room for temporary fencing, a borrowed goat or 2 would be a great way to cut back brambles. In a weeks time they would mow it back and then you could dig out the roots by hand without getting bloodied.

spray grass weed killer and dont water your lawn

Hard work I'm afraid. I had them and had to dig them all out including the roots. best of luck.
One word, my friend.
Concrete
I would reccomend cutting them down to the ground (say a few inches above ground) and spraying with round-up
Wait a week and remove what you can, rototill it and spray with round-up again.
That's what we did for thistle I sure hope it works
You've got to tire the plant out as it stores it's energy in the roots. everytime it grows new leaves either spray it , rototill it or both
why would you want to get rid of them? bramble pie and custard!MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
you may find as your searching for the root, it's in a neighbouring garden.
this is frustrating because all you can do is cut them back as far as you boundary.
if they are in your garden, the only sure way is to dig out the root.
spray with roundup that kills to the root and almost everything it touches. be able to clear within a fortnight as what would be left would be killed to the root
chuck the wife and kid at them
completly dig roots out
