Are blue Iris duplicate as blue orchids?

I wanna send flowers to my fiancee at work and she loves blue orchids...but i found some nice blue iris flowers that be nice. I was wondering if they be the same. THANKS!


Answers:    Nope. Orchids are much different than the iris plant.

BUT, it's the thought that counts! I bet she'd love the Iris bouquet.

They're two terribly distinct and very DIFFERENT flowers. They're both markedly pretty, though. I suspect whatever you dispatch, she'll be pleased to get them :-)
