how do i keep racoons off my bird feeder?
Answers:
You could tie pie tins(aluminum) around the top and bottom of the feeder. They make noise and will scare the raccoons. You could use whirly gigs or pin wheels too. Or you might want to invest in a squirrel proof bird feeder, these feeders are also raccoon proof. Good luck! :)

There are bird feeders on the market that can not be accessed by raccoons or squirrels. Or you could get a shotgun!
Shoot them.
You need to have a feeder that the raccoons cannot get to or climb upon...Hanging it in a tree doesn't work...Try using a slim pole of metal...
If you had bears coming onto your property to eat your bird feeder seed, you would probably seise putting out the food right?
