Whats the cheapest & easy way to put in a waterfall for my backyard?

Answers:
if you wont a high waterfall, build a mountain like you decide on how high you wont it. big a trench and put a hose pipe in the trench and cover the hose with rocks. you have a waterfall all you pay for is the hose pipe now if you wont 1 stream put nothing in front of the tip of the hose. if you wont it wide put rocks and things in front of the tip of the hose and you can make it as wide as you wont it.

stand there with a bucket full of water and slowly pour it out! you will get a waterfall for sure!
if you are handy most lawn and garden stores are now selling the items needed and they should be able to give you directions on how to do also
If you serious go to your local gardening store and ask the people there not here k because you will get smart *** remarks lol good luck
Block the toilet and open the back door. Actually go to Home Depot or any Do It Your Self place and buy a kit and a half of a old wine barrel and some garden stones. Then make a weekend project of it.
LOL... buy a sprinker...
I have seen a few made out of clay pots, some are laid simi on the side..and also, use a small electric pump...I am sure you could find help by searching the www.
might even check lowes or home depot.. or another garden shop.
You will need...
1) Kiddie pool ( the kind that is round, plastic, non inflatable style and about a foot deep)

2) A water pump from Wal-Mart or a local plant nursery

3) Pea stone or 1/2 inch crushed stone (1/2 cubic yard)

4) Tubing to connect to the pump to bring the water to the top of your waterfall (6 feet or so)

5) fine mesh screen (6 inch square)

Dig a hole and set the pool in it so the lip is at ground level. Fill in all around the pool and level the ground around to make it look natural.
Cover the pump intake with the screening to prevent anything but water from getting into the pump. connect the output hose and set pump against the edge of the pool with the hose leading out of the pool.
Fill the pool with the stone (taking care to avoid damaging the pump) until the pool is filled to the top (ground level).
Fill pool with water until nearly full.
Set any kind of item (stacked rocks are best) on the stone filled pool and bring the pump hose to the top of the waterfall and pin, wedge or glue in place (discretely if possible so it wont be seen).
Turn on pump and the water will circulate over the waterfall, into the rocks and back again.
The crushed stone will stop algae and evaporation that is common with water pool type waterfalls.
dpending on how cold ur winters get ,plastic can crack, use a good 45mil rubber liner, most have a 20 year warrenty, buy a good pump, and use flexible pvc pipe, try to find ur rocks in feilds, they are getting expensive to buy, and use ur immagination, ponds and water fallls are cool, i love mine, u can put fish in them, coi's comets and gold fish will make it through winter as long as ur pond has at least a section that is 3 feet or more deep, been really enjoying mine, if ur serious and need more info contact me thru e-mail i'd be glad to help. you will also need a filter or skimmer box. to keep pump clean.
you can purchase a reasonably priced prefab waterfall at wall mart. They look nice, don't take a lot of space and all you have to do is pour in a few gallons of water and plug the pump into any 120 amp outlet...I saw them on sale in a sale paper just this week.
