I enjoy an elder kenmore refrigerator (6146) could someone speak about me what type of freon go surrounded by it? R22 or what?
Answers: Probably R12. R22 is too loose for refrigeration. R12 is densely packed and more suited for refrigeration since for a while goes a long road.You can get a righteous sub for R-12 in Freeze12 which is sold commercially within small 1 pound cans. Refrigerators one and only hold 4 ounces. So 1 one pound can will do several refrigerators.R22 is added in much larger quantitys and mostly used for nouns conditioning systems. It is very forgiving near moisture in the system whereas R12 will freeze and clog efficiently with any amount of nouns in the system. R22 can be used contained by larger walk-in coolers and freezer applications,but older household refrigerators adjectives use R-12.
