one of the metal thing on my electric plugs is bent and im having a hard time getting it straight? what can i?

a regular electrical cord, 2 or 3 prong??
Pliers or a flat screwdriver always works for me..place the screwdriver in between the prongs, and bend out the the bent prong.

if it's the "third" prong that goes either up, or down, you can pull that right out if you can't straighten it. All that one is for is a ground, the electric current comes through the other two metal pieces.
