Clogged Kitchen sink?

Is it safe to use DRANO gel within the kitchen sink with a litter disposal.

Answers:    before calling a plumber, pour a small box of baking soda contained by the disposal, then SLOWLY pour within white vinegar...wait a few second and add more vinegar...repeat the vinegar until adjectives the baking soda is dissolved, then run VERY hot hose down for 5 minutes...if this doesn't work, then phone call a plumber
