how do i get my kitchen sink valve to stop leaking?
Answers:
im not sure if your talking about the shut off valve under the sink or the the handles next to the faucet either way i would check to see if there is a screw on the top part of the handle and make sure its tighten you might have to pop off a cap to get to it and make sure all hoses are tight and that you have put enough plumbers tape on it

Shut off the water and take it apart and clean it. Put it back together. Open the On/Off, Hot/Cold (as you call it) all the way to the center position. This should be the hot and cold mix. Remove the aerator and then turn the water back on and let run for several seconds. This will get any mineral deposit debris out of the pipes. This should stop the leak.

Maybe it;s the washer or o-ring needs replacing. Pem
most units come ready to put in and you just hook up the supply lines. if the on/off handle is leaking from up top, its not seated or sealed properly. if you just bought it, take it back and get another as every unit comes complete where you just hook it up. at the most, you might have to screw the handle on, but it should be sealed aready. i have installed hundreds of sink and bathroom units and sometimes you will come across a bad unit.
