Answers:    Are you sure you did not Missread the innovative fuse rating. For a standard 3kW . immersion heater this would require at smallest a 13 amp fuse A 3 amp fuse would not stand a chance. To work it out, check if you can the immersion oven rating. use the formula Watts divided by volts equals amps. If you have a 3kilo Watt immersion stove this is 3000 Watts, divide it by the standard UK voltage of 230 and this will give you basically over 13 amps. By the same formula, your 3 amp fuse will with the sole purpose be suitable for a 690 Watt (0.69 kW) furnace. If in your request for information you have mis typed 3 amp for 13 amp and a 13 amp fuse blows, near is a fault beside the immersion heater which is a adjectives occurrence after a term of use, where the copper covering of the electric fire rods gets eat away to expose the internal electrical elements. This will require the heater to be changed, which can be a DIY assignment, but quite difficult if you do not own the right tools and are not competent with electrics. A well brought-up plumber would be able to check the status of the immersion radiator with a multi meter and alter it for you.
Hi there,i have this problem before and it be the thermostat inside the heater have decayed. When the outer valise starts decaying it then starts to outflow water into the electrical wires and this consequently blows your fuses...
