my heating/cooling system isn't big enough to heat/cool my house. would it be cheaper to get 1 big unit, OR..

did u add on to the house?....if so add a second system to the addition. If not and if the system had worked properly in the past but isnt working right now then it probably just needs serviced. If you haven't added on and the system has never worked properly then it is undersized. You need to call a hvac contractor in your area and have him give an estimate of adding to and replacing the system.

If you built an addition, then yeah it might be too small... I personally would just get a bigger unit, I think you will save a little more energy wise, rather than adding a second unit...
