Are in attendance any sensitive of covers for upduct vent?

I have up duct vent in my house because of a swamp cooler we enjoy. The problem is - the swamp cooler hasn't worked for 15 years. I just moved within about a year ago and I want to cover the holes from the up ducts so our AC/heat doesn't be in motion out of them and into the attic. Are there any considerate of covers or slips I can buy at Home Depot or something that I can slid into the ducts to cover them up and prevent having our AC/heat escape through them? Thanks!


Answers:    if they hold metal grates over them you could replace them with the variety that open and close. or adjectives of the home improvement places vend magnetic covers that will do a pretty well brought-up job seal these covers if they are metallic
Not that I know of.

If you want them permanently closed, I would use dry wall and patch the space. After repairing next to mesh tape and amalgamated compound, paint the area to game and go over it next to one of Spraytec's wall texture finishes. Blend it into your existing wall texture and you will never know the duct was at hand.

IF you want to keep the vent, purchase flat sheet metal or 12" roof flashing. Use a spray paint primer over it and then paint it to game the update vent. Tack it down inside of the vents to the wall studs or to the put money on of the vents.
