I just get a furnace installed 2 weeks ago, it's a 92 % High effiency furnace..the current temperature is -25 degree outside and inside right now its 15 degree and my thermostat is set at 21, i called my rental company and they said they would be here as soon as possible but i come up with it's bs!! The furnace will come on sometimes but only for approaching a minute, but the the fan turns out to suck surrounded by the cold air...but other consequently that it makes a loud clunking rumble sometimes when it turns on...this has be like this since 6:00am and yesterday they come and fixed it again!! is there anything I can do, since this rental company is useless
Answers: Sounds close to your flame sensor might not be working properly. Call the rental place and tell them you will bid the local government agency that deal with landlords and complain if they don't get hold of it fixed. That is a safety issue near no heat.
I would give the name the rental agency and tell them that you're going to bring contained by your own HVAC technician (make sure you hire a licensed tech) and send them the bill.
Save adjectives your receipts and diagnosis in travel case you have to travel to small claims to get remunerated. Under those circumstances, this is an emergency and you should not have to hang around until normal business hours, nor should they complain nearly you bringing in your own HVAC character after hours.
