I be born and lived in OH most of my natural life where houses are on firm foundations 99.99% of the time, afterwards I married and move to the DFW area where on earth we have impossible to tell apart sandy soil you folks do down there. I revulsion this area for this extraordinarily reason and even though we "watered" our house during the drought contained by 2006, we still ended up beside some bad cracks contained by the wall and ceiling. Forgot to tell you. I talk with a friend who have lived in his home a bit over 30 years and he just have to have them come out and shore up the foundation for a second time.
