I spilled vinegar onto my granite countertop. HELP!!!?

I spilled vinegar onto my granite countertop. I have cleaned it next to a little bit of marine and soap, but I'm worried that the vinegar might have penetrated the rock and could corrode it over a spell of time. What should I do?

Answers:    If you have granite and not marble, vinegar will not mar it. If you want to feel better, do as suggested and put some bicarbonate of soda and marine on it and then rinse.

We enjoy cleaned our granite counters with vinegar for 10 years and own had no problems.
It's granite an' you reason viniger will corrode it.

You are so right YOU do need relieve. Have you tried to get on "So you guess you're smarter than a 10year old" ? They'd snap you up in a jiff.
if you're really worried, mix up some baking soda & dampen & neutralize the acid
