Trane furnace continuation interview?
Answers: I've put a contact below to the owners manual. You'll find that encouraging. It looks as though you can wash or vacuum the pre-filter. It also have directions for cleaning the "cells." As far as I can make clear to, every part of the system can be effortlessly cleaned.
I've got a ionizing smoke eater surrounded by our den. We just hose down the prefilter, and clean the "cell" in reheat water.
In penetrating the Trane website, I came upon information in connection with a recall on some of Trane's nouns cleaners. You may want to contact your local Trane dealer and see if they necessitate to send someone out. (If they do dispatch someone out, while they are there, be sure to ask them a million question on how to care for your nouns cleaner.)
I have a Payne gas furnace next to a Honeywell electronic air cleaner.
I am assuming that your ionizer is removable.
If the filter and ionizer are made of metal---clean them surrounded by your dishwasher.
In the dishwater--remove the top rack--as this will give you more room (I own 2 ionizers in my nouns cleaner and I can barely fit both surrounded by my dishwasher). Be very thrifty not to break or damage the wires surrounded by the ionizer. Set them on the bottom flat on the bottom rack of your dishwasher and throw your prefilter in too. Do a regular wipe up with dishwashing detergent. Works resembling a charm.
