Help! I own a 2000 rheem furnace. just this minute it have erstwhile to ignite and is tripping the curcit.?
Answers: Too many variables to answer this completely. Good word is that furnaces have thoroughly few parts to them and are very predicatable contained by their operation and in their non operation. Most probable make happen is a bad transformer, it's a $20 subdivision and $100 in labor and another $40 surrounded by mark up on the division. If you're comforatable doing this, open the furnace na shift out the transformer. You don't need an exact look alike, in recent times one with one and the same voltage. If that does not do it, it is most likely a problem next to a GFI circuit. Either the furnace motherboard or the duplex the furnace is plugged in to is impossible.
First off if its the transformer and you replace it near out finding the short that caused the problem you will blow another transformer
