Can someone help me with an air conditioning problem, please?

Our air conditionor unit outside runs. The blower on the furnace doesn't work when the AC is on but does work when the heat is on.

I agree with the first person who replied to your
question, the relay that starts your fan motor in
A/C mode is not working.

On your thermostat do you have a fan "Auto / On
switch ? if so place it in the on mode, your furnace fan should run continuously.

Another option is to find the device that senses your furnace plenum temperature, it is normally located behind the fan access cover at the back
of the furnace, there is normally a knob on this
device that allows you to manually switch the fan
on to a continuous run mode.

Hope this helps, remember though if you feel uncomfortable in the back of your furnace better to spend the money for a service call then have an accident.

Other answers:
The inside blower is activated by a relay that closes when the unit is in the cooling mode. The same blower is activated by a switch inside the furnace that closes after the chamber inside heats up.
Sounds like the relay is bad.

It sounds like the Blower fan is out or there is a electral short of some kind If it is older than 18 years Time to replace it It may not be safe any more. Plus the new one will save you money right away. Good luck
