Is in attendance a course to remove pet odor from floorboards in need replacing?
Answers: i wash them with bleach/water mixture. Let them dry particularly thoroughly and then I painted it beside Kilz primer. It seals merely about every stain and smell.

Use an enzyme cleaner. Pet stores provide products like this. Odor-cide is one that I enjoy used.
You can find Kilz at most hardware/homecenters. The oil base version is best but the latex will also work.

Dumping bleach onto the stains will facilitate (I've done this with some hardwood flooring that desperately wants refinished). Also painting next to a lacquer sealant will "seal" the odors in -- I certainly know someone who just lacquered a floor after pulling up the runner.
You can use vinegar. Just pour it on and let it soak into the wood. The smell will be gone and you can paint it or anything you like.
Wash the boards powerfully with Nature's Miracle - a white bottle beside red lettering found in most pet stores and sometimes tie up stores like Wal*Mart. Let the floors dry completely. Then apply two coats of Killz paint. Give it a week or so (Killz have a strong scent) before lay down any other carpet or covering to be sure the pet odor is gone.
as stated KILTS make a floor sealant. Apply 2 coats before lay new wipe and carpet.
I believe the pet supply have a product that may work call them.
Spray-paint type or paintable polyurethane or regular shellac will stamp in the odor. Kilz or Zinzer products will work too. Check the nouns with a blacklight to generate any urine stains stand out----they flouresce under blacklight---bulbs can be found at hardware stores.
