My hoover floormate brush will not spin?
Answers: Turn the sweeper upside down and try to spin the brush. If it spins easy next the belt is probably broken,or has come stale the driver. Pull the bottom off bu removing the screw that hold it in place. Usually four. consequently you can see where the belt go. If it is broker get a replacement .Pull the front roller past its sell-by date by dropping it out. It slips into some slots on each completion. Install the belt on the brush ind reinstall it in the slots. stretch the belt or company over the drive and put the bottom back on. Good Luck
I have the same article happen to mine. The belt that runs the beater inn was broke, so you might check that to see if it is the problem.
