The knob in my gas stove is stuck after cleaning it with a bleach. What is the best lubricant to use?

Gas stove - Knobs go down before turning - couldn't get them move even with pliers.

Answers:
Tap it with something like a rubber hammer, but don't beat it. If it doesn't work than call a professional. Don't use anything oil based like WD-40 because gas and oils don't mix if the gas makes its way to it.

wd40
wd40
WD-40 works best. By the way, never clean a gas stove with bleach! It gums it up. Use a citrus cleaner with an antibacterial agent.
Oil will burn off, but graphite powder might work. Buy it at a hardware store.
Call the maintenance guy meanwhile use WD-40.
WD40 Works for everything i have ever tried it on.
Yup; WD40.
