The tub does drain completely, but there is hose still in the drain. I hold tried various drain openers, near little result. How can I fix this problem? and what causes it?
Answers: your drain is any clogged or back pitched. You WILL NOT see dampen from your trap in your tub.
Some river has to be surrounded by the drain to keep the drain trap from drying out. Other prudent sewer gases will be in motion up the drain into your house. The water flowing down the drain is what keep the sewer gases going down as ably. I even pour water down the drain within drains in my house that don't catch used much to make sure they stay showery.
