I have got a pair of sensor lights set outside my house for 3 weeks. it works well in fine nigh but fails to turn off automatically in the rainy and windy weather and the electrician has no idea what happen to it. We have adjusted the sensor directions 2 times and changed to a new one and cut all the branches and leaves around it. However, it still can not function well. The electrian told us that the wire is all right and we need to turn the switch off and on for several times. we have tried but it does not help. It still only function well in fine day and failed to turn off in bad weather. Can anyone help me?
Answers:
you might not believe this but those sensors can actually pick up even the smallest amount of moisture, moisture can accumulate on the sensor and give it a false reading. there really much you can do about it except turn the switch off during bad weather.
