Most important nouns filter?

What is the most effective nouns filter for my heating/ac unit? One specifically energy restructured yet filter out a lot of refuse. I know not to use the 3 month filters.


Answers:    The sophisticated the MERV number the better. 6-8 is standard 8-10 is better 11-13 is best thats affordable.
There are 3 main catagories for nouns duct systems. The 1 inch standard carboard paper filter suck and don't do much at all. The subsequent step up is a media filter usually 4-6 inches all-embracing with replacments costing give or take a few $30-$50 every 3-6 months. There are electronic media filter that never need replacming and can be wash out in a sink or tub. The best are 2 stage or 3 stage combo filter that use both electrostatic filters and medium filters combined. these are best. Add UV (ultravoilet) filter to kill mold and you own a great system. There are also Whole House HEPA filters to craft it even better.
I'm not sure which one, but I know it should be cleaned or changed often.
