How possible is lifting a Residential Roof 4 auxiliary foot?
Answers: The end construction company I worked for, we were asked to make the addition of a second floor to an old house for an architect. It is particularly feasible!! Anything can be done, but how much are you feeling like to spend? I can assure you its not a DIY project, check out a few contractors get some bids. I'll bet you receive bids ranging from $90/sq ft up to $130/ sq ft. It can be done, but its not going to be cheap. If you can afford a 3 story house, why not purely buy some land and build you a custom house thats suited more to your wants. You'll make better money surrounded by your investment as well. Be smart!
Quite seriously of work is involved to raise the roof of a property. Not tiniest the planning permission. If they allow it after the whole roof have to have the tiles removed feel removed joists removed walls bricked up, joist refitted internal ceiling joists re-fitted ceiling reboarded, ceiling replastered, feel and battens layed again and next roof tiles layed again. Expect to be without a roof for at lowest 2 weeks and scaffolding up around your house for at least 3 weeks. Also the cost would be pretty high as you are more or smaller number building an extension to your property. All in adjectives it may be cheaper for you to sleep in one of the other bedrooms. LOL sorry but you asked.
