Use multiple insect killing treatments. Fog your house, then follow up with roach traps, plenty of them, and something called roach gel. Combat is a good brand. Then keep those cans of spray around your house and zap them mercilessly, you should be clean in like a month. Just remember to read the directions and change your traps and gel every few months.

First a cockroach is a water bug, " They Love water." So find all the leaks and damp places and correct if you can. Also throw out any open containers ( boxes etc.) and Old Mags and Newspapers, cause they hide, breed and feed there. Next go to your nearest hardware store and Buy a Bug Bomb. Cover any food left out, remove pet's dishes and remove yourself from the house for 2 1/2 Hrs. That should do it. For Future preventive measures, they hate Baking soda, it burns them Mix one small box of soda ( costs 69 Cents ) with 3 Cups of dry soap fragranced detergent, sprinkle in cracks ( doorways and baseboards) and on rugs, let set for 15 mins. to 1/2 hour and Vaccum. Your rooms will smell better, be bug free and you can't bet the cost !
Repeat once a week for a month then once evey 2 weeks.
I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas, roach capital of the world. Years ago I moved into an apartment that was heavily infested with roaches. The apartment personnel exterminated several times, necessitating my packing up all my dishes, food, bathroom stuff, etc. and it did NO good at all. Then I put out Combat baits one night, and the next day they were all gone and never came back. Nothing beats Combat.
only spray raid max. for roaches at night. in kitchens take a couple quart jars.put Vaseline 2/3 down the jar,small piece of white bread in bot ton[you ll be surprised how many you catch. keep cleaning them,out daily.you need to do this for 4 weeks.because the eggs that hatch.roaches are under microwaves,cabinets fridgs,place round.change places when you dont catch any for 24 hours. cockroaches do not like cat nip plants.this is what we did at my daughters.after 6 weeks none seen. nothing but cantainers on shelve.
