Has anyone ever used Top Seal to renovate their roof?

My girlfriend's father wants to use Top Seal to redo the roof but isn't sure if it's worth it. Has anyone ever used it? I want to hear positive/negative feedback please. :)

It's the same material (different brand) that we used to coat the roof of our RV for years. It's just part of routine maintainance on the older models. It worked pretty well for that, but I'm not sure I would want to apply it to the roof of a home.
